Who we're looking for
We’re looking for a Head of Analytics who will help TaxDome take our analytics function to the next level.
You’ll be responsible for both Product Analytics and Data Engineering — building the right data foundations, turning insights into action, and helping the company make smarter, faster decisions. Your work will directly shape how we understand our users, measure product release success, and plan our roadmap.
The role requires someone who can think strategically, dive deep into data when needed, and collaborate well across Product, Engineering, Revenue, and Operations.
You’ll report to the VP of Product and lead a growing team of Product Analysts and Data Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Build and run the company-wide analytics and data engineering strategy — making sure our data and insights support key product, business, and GTM goals.
- Grow, coach, and support a strong analytics and data engineering team, improving the overall analytics maturity of the organization.
- Create and maintain reliable data foundations — high-quality data, clear documentation, consistent definitions, and a trusted single source of truth.
- Own and evolve our modern data platform (BigQuery, Airflow, observability tools, analytics platforms).
- Introduce and scale hypothesis-driven decision-making — helping product teams run faster learning cycles and validate insights even in small-sample B2B environments.
- Develop self-service analytics capabilities so Product, Marketing, CS, and Operations teams can easily access clean data, dashboards, and user behavior insights without bottlenecks.
Our expectations
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or data engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- A proven track record of building and scaling analytics teams and functions (experience in B2B SaaS is a plus).
- Experience designing or managing modern data architecture, including data quality, documentation, governance, and access control.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, GA4, or similar).
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
- Excellent communication skills — ability to turn complex data into clear insights and recommendations for executives and product teams.
- English level: B2+
